Eyes Wide Shit: Dream Journal #1

All are standing around me, all are faceless but I can still feel them staring at me. Merely moments before no one had even noticed that I was even there. I walked around trying to get someones attention, was I dead? With the next blink everyone was gone, I wandered for what seemed like hours. As I blinked again I see everyone back, surrounding me with no way out. Slowly a portion of the circle opened a path, my first thought was maybe these faceless yet familiar figures were letting me go, then you emerged. So beautiful, I couldn't help but smile when I saw your face. You walked slowly towards me with your hands behind your back, you seemed to be holding something but I didn't care I was just happy to see you...

I hear the slow hum of my laptop, my mind was awake but my I couldn't seem to move my body. The quiet seemed to cover my room, yet it was really dead silent. I'll wake up any moment now, just got to wiggle my big toe and go from there. Slowly out of the darkness I feel a cold chill, as though someone was right next to me the sound of a heavy and cold breath chilled my whole body. I struggled to move but I lay there motionless, yet I felt as if I was shaking.

"This is fucking terrifying, wake the fuck up"

These were the thoughts running through my head. Then an image popped in my head that I could only describe as the face of the exorcist girl, she was here to take my soul. I'm going to hell and the last thing I'm going to see the face of a possessed little girl.

Somehow the silence returned, as fast as it came it all disappeared. I still couldn't move, the slow hum of my laptop carried from the other side of my room, my breath became calm again. I don't know how I got back there but I was surrounded by the faceless bodies. I look around and as I came full circle you are once again standing in front of me. I couldn't help but smile and be happy to see your face once again. All I want to do is hold you in my arms, and as I move forward to embrace you I feel a sharp pain on my left side. I look down to see a knife in my side. As I look back up, you are gone everyone is gone. I slowly hit the ground, before my face can make contact with the concrete I find myself sitting up in bed, covered in sweat. All that was left was a dark empty room, and a pain in my left side.
